Plug-ins
Plugins are the extensions of the core application that can add new functionality to solve specific data collection requirements without altering the application core. We continually build new features and functionality outside the core and integrate it into our application for our customers. This makes WorldAPP considerably more flexible than most standard SaaS providers who would never agree to develop a specific piece of functionality for a new customer. The best response you might get is "we'll put it on our wish list," which is unacceptable if the functionality is essential to your business.
In contrast to this approach, WorldAPP actually focuses on addressing the "needs gap" that often arises in evaluating an application. We have carved out a niche through the development of plug-ins for smaller gaps and development of Integrated Data Engineering Applications (IDEAS) for large scale projects that involve integration between multiple applications and very client specific work-flow management.
- Get exactly the functionality you need. Save time and Money - functionality is developed in weeks, not months/years
- Functionality is delivered much faster than traditional "custom development"
- Distribution and maintenance of "plug-in" library to all WorldAPP customers creates a community where everyone can take advantage of the new plug-ins being developed by WorldAPP for all customers
- Plug-ins are part of WorldAPP's core release Quality Assurance plan - this ensures customized plug-ins are supported indefinitely with future versions
- No headaches about functionality "breaking" with upgrades - indefinitely maintained
Geo-Location Mapping
You can capture your respondent's geo-location data: IP address, latitude, longitude, country, state/region and city to evaluate and present survey findings graphically on Google Maps to simplify decision-making processes.
These plug-ins include: the IP Address Saver, Respondent Location and Respondent Location Map.
Logic, quota and randomization tools
Randomize questions within a section and show questions randomly. Each question can be assigned a weight which will determine the probability of that particular question being displayed. Allow users to set complex logical expressions for a quota and to redirect respondents to a specific web page. You can redirect respondents to a specific web site based on their answers.
Sliders and calendars
A slider can be used to replace numeric input (data is still returned as a numeric value). Calendars may be displayed next to a text field for a smart date selecting.
Respondent registration and LDAP authentication
The Respondent Registration plug-in allows users to create a registration form where respondents will be able to register using a login and password. Form authentication replaces standard password protection for surveys with a login and password. Login and password information is stored in a separate survey.
LDAP authentication checks respondents through an Active Directory or other LDAP source.
Workflow Plug-ins
Our Workflow Plug-ins allow you to create logical transitions between surveys, autofilling information from one survey to another and creating a unique link. In addition, our Remote Data Plug-in allows for the automatic submission of data to additional third party forms with the submission of the primary survey or form.
Time Control, Respondent ID, and CAPTCHA Plug-ins
Our Time Access Plug-in determines the hours a survey will be available. For example, the user may specify that the survey will be available every day from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. The Respondent ID Plug-in saves a unique respondent's ID inside the survey or form. The Respondent Phone Number Location Plug-in provides information on a respondent's location depending on the phone number they enter.
The CAPTCHA Validation Plug-in ensures data is submitted by human..
